Gros-Ite Precision Engineered Spindles is a Business Unit of Gros-Ite Industries, a division of EDAC Technologies. We are located in Farmington CT where we design, manufacture and repair all types of precision Ball and Roller Bearing Spindles Hydrostatic as well as other precision rotary devices. In addition to our standard spindle line, we have the capability to design and manufacture custom spindles to suit any of your manufacturing needs up to 100 HP and speeds in excess of 100,000 RPM.

Our spindle repair service can recondition all brands of precision Ball, Roller or Hydrostatic bearing spindles, domestic or foreign, as well as provide emergency spindle repair in as little as 48 hours when needed.

All the rotating components in each Gros-Ite Spindle are dynamically balanced to the lowest balancing tolerances anywhere and then completely assembled in our Class 10,000 Clean Room. Each spindle is thoroughly tested through the full range of speeds too insure proper break in of the bearings as well as superior quality. Vibration and temperature readings that are recorded during the break in period are provided to you along with your spindle. All Gros-Ite spindles, both new or repair, carry a full one to two year warranty from date of shipment.
